As part of Leanne’s Midlife Symphony series today, I talk about my wake up call and the realisation that I was stuck in the treadmill and heading for burn out. I was drifting through life and something finally clicked so I decided to make changes. I chose to reclaim my life and start living. How could I live a life that honoured my values and passions rather than someone else’s? What tools and techniques did I use to get there and for finding my balance? Of course I still have ups and downs and strong emotions never leave us. However, I’m now calmer and more in tune with myself. And I actually enjoy getting up on a Monday morning.
